Listing & editorial standards
Understand what a catalogue entry does—and does not—confirm.
Discovery, not a booking offer
Listings are source-linked research for adults aged 18+. They help you explore learning, cultural, volunteering, work and leisure possibilities. They do not confirm dates, availability, admission, suitability, local permissions, insurance or safety. The platform does not sell or reserve these experiences.
Sources and checks
We aim to link claims to the relevant original provider or official source and date the evidence where available. A source-check date means information was reviewed; it is not a provider inspection, background check or safety certification. Missing practical details remain unconfirmed. Ask providers to confirm current total costs, exclusions, qualifications, transport, insurance, access arrangements, visas and cancellation terms.
Providers and commercial relationships
A listing or external link does not imply a partnership, endorsement or referral agreement. We do not promise that every provider has approved our wording. Where permission is required for third-party text, logos or photographs, it must be obtained or the material removed. Publicly available material is not automatically free to copy.
If we introduce paid placements, sponsored content or affiliate links, we will clearly identify the commercial relationship at the relevant content or link. Membership is separate from a contract with a provider. We will not present an unverified claim as a customer review or invent testimonials.
Corrections and removal requests
Contact hello@oveloworld.com with the listing URL, the disputed information or material, your authority where relevant and supporting evidence. We review corrections, copyright/privacy concerns and requests to remove restricted material. See reports and complaints. Photography sources are listed on our credits page.
Travel preparation
Check current FCDO travel advice and the destination’s official requirements. A directory entry is not a recommendation to travel against official advice. Provider contracts, local rules and your individual circumstances still need checking.
